Class Rooms
Our class rooms are deliberately designed to make a conductive atmosphere for the children to study peacefully. The class rooms are spacious and equipped with comfortable furniture.
We maintain a teacher student ratio of 1:30. Clean and comfortable classroom stimulates learning.
Computer Laboratory
Technological advancement is indispensable at any point of time. We at Shivalika Public School equip our children to adapt to the latest technology.
Our computer lab is equipped with advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software to cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum. All the computers in our lab are loaded with all the required software to teach Junior and senior students.
Science Laboratory
Science Lab is the place where we ignite our students mind with range of experiments. We help our students to think and question. We believe that the science lab is an important means of instruction which makes students understand the concept clearly.
Transport
School bussing or students transport is an important segment of school education. School transportation is a privilege, the safety measures are maintained in the. The routes and stoppages of the school buses have been prepared keeping in view the convenience and safety of all students.
Parents should consult the school transport in-charge for necessary details regarding bus-stops.
Library
Spacious library for student to study subject in peaceful ambience under supervision. And for revising syllabus again, in advance to lead in competitive environment. Our Library consists of more than 1516 Volumes comprising of books from various Authors and Publications in English and Hindi languages. All kinds of story Books for pre-primary kids are stocked. A library period per week is included in the curriculum to encourage kids into reading books.
Smart Class Room
The smart class room is equipped with the latest audio-video infrastructure based on the principles of smart Tutoring. This is a platform that employs unit-level multimedia tools, animations and interactive elements, making classes highly interesting and ensuring participation from all students.
Curriculum
A curriculum is considered the “heart” of any learning institution which means that schools or universities cannot exist without a curriculum. With its importance in formal education, curriculum has become a dynamic process due to the changes that occur in our society.
Our academic program uses a distinctive Core Sequence, an approach to teaching that is geared to each discipline, advanced coursework, high standards, and thoughtful feedback that in the hands of expert instructors to shape students into exceptional thinkers, accomplished scholars, and engaged citizens.
The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. The medium of instruction is English. Students are made to feel connected to everything that goes on in the world- through projects, curriculum related activities like excursions, workshops, lectures and films. Teacher and student workshops are held by eminent subject experts. Counselors and teachers work with parents to guide students identify their capabilities and potential.
The Syllabus for all Classes is according to the guidelines laid down by the NCERT. Physical Education and work experience are an essential part of the curriculum.
